In late 2018, Steve Bannon, previously Donald Trump's chief strategist, was in the UK preparing for a speech at the Oxford Union.

The speech was interrupted by numerous protesters, and Bannon, who was due to travel that evening, told Jeffrey Epstein in an email: "Protesters delayed speech I doubt I can catch the plane we are heading to heathrow".

Epstein replied: "That. Is a Gulf Air departing at 9:50 with a layover in Bahrain". Bannon replied: "U r an amazing assistant".

These exchanges were released on Wednesday together with more than 20,000 pages from the estate of Epstein, the late financier convicted of sex crimes.

The disclosure by the Congressional committee contains an iMessage chat where Bannon's name is withheld. Media outlets has been able to establish his involvement by cross-referencing the dates, occurrences, and places referenced.

For example, Epstein talks about arranging a jet from the UK for the unnamed individual in the messages, and commends their "Oxford speech". Bannon participated in the News Xchange conference on November 14, and gave the talk at the Oxford on November 16.

Bannon, who is not accused of any misconduct, did not reply on the inquiry.

Epstein's Assurance to Bannon

Bannon was one of the president's key aides in the run up to the 2016 election and in the early days of his presidency, but resigned from the administration in 2017.

He has admitted he was making a film about Epstein before his passing and allegedly has around 15 hours of footage. In a live taping of his show recently, he stated: "We plan to publish the series, the five-part series, next year - early next year."

But the recently disclosed materials suggest Bannon's connection with Epstein extended than documenting his life, with the disgraced financier occasionally appearing to serve like a personal assistant.

A short time prior to the exchange in which Epstein appeared to have booked a charter jet for Bannon, Epstein said: "what's it like to have the highest-paid travel agent in history ".

Bannon expressed gratitude: "U r quite capable asst", to which Epstein replied "Therapies. Excluded".

Discussing a visit to "AD" in another message, Epstein told Bannon: "I'll make sure you're taken care of."

British Affairs Discussed in Exchanges

The released communications also reveal Bannon and Epstein talking about British political matters in 2018.

Earlier on the same day his speech at the Oxford Union, Bannon texted Epstein: "I've gotten pulled into the Brexit thing this day with Farage, Boris and Rees Mogg."

Then, in what appears to be a reference to Theresa May, the struggling UK prime minister at the period, he continued: "They are trying to proceed. May soon…"

Epstein suggested Bannon: "I think remaining as much as you can in the UK. Best-- so people get the commitment of your follow through."

Shortly after, Epstein asked: "Will Theresa may remain in power". Bannon replied: "I don't see how however the people over here have little courage" and noted "Boris ; Michael Gove; Rees Mogg; Davis - somebody has to take charge".

May was eventually toppled in 2019 after withstanding multiple attempts of lack of support in late 2018.

A spokesman for Reform UK informed media: "Nigel Farage has never been in a gathering with Bannon, Rees-Mogg and Johnson." And there is no evidence that encounter occurred.

The Congress will decide soon on whether the Department of Justice should release all its records related to its probe into Epstein, who passed away in jail in that year.

Attention in Epstein's relationships with powerful figures was reignited recently after the publication of more than 20,000 pages from his archives.
